Lilly & Louise is a small DESIGN and CRAFT studio. We get excited about working with anyone who seeks a personal touch for their correspondence. Beyond creating a pretty piece of paper, we focus on the complete experience between sender and recipient, designing for aesthetics and functionality. We’d love to hear more about a project you have. It grew out of her joy of crafting something perfectly unique for a special person, spending more time creating the card than choosing the gift. Since she was a young girl, Leslie has loved sending and receiving snail-mail not only for the pleasure of receiving something beautiful in the mail — a hand-written letter, picture, joke or postcard from afar — but for the complete experience that started with a friend’s thoughtfulness. Leslie’s correspondence designs reflect this passion for the experience of the recipient and the sincerity of the sender. Leslie is a transplanted Texan enjoying the sunny days and ocean breezes of Southern California. She’s at peace painting barefoot in her studio, preparing a fresh meal with her husband or hiking a new trail with their dogs, Peachy and Skip. Splitting her time between fine art and design, Leslie uses her artistic hand to bring a soft, playful and unique touch to her printed pieces. She has done custom work for clients ranging from members of the President’s Cabinet to the new mom next door. Leslie has a BA in Studio Art and a BFA in Design from the University of Texas at Austin, and spent several years cutting her teeth in the world of corporate design before leaping out on her own.
